Is it possible to mix up fluids of different types?

It is permissible to mix up fluids, but it is better to avoid risk, because it can lead to breakage and full replacement of automatic gearbox is quite expensive. For identification of oil type a special coloring agent should be added into it that would not influence characteristics of ATF oils. If it is impossible to determine specification, it should be fully refilled.
